Im Gegenzug schenkte sie ihm zwei Ritterburgen. Fromms erhebliches Vermögen überführten deutsche Beamte in Hitlers Kriegskasse. Der Gummifabrikant und die meisten Mitglieder seiner Familie konnten aus Berlin fliehen und überlebten den Holocaust - über den Globus verstreut. Doch nach dem Krieg enteigneten deutsche Kommunisten Julius Fromm ein zweites Mal.
