劉正，1963年生。族名劉元正，北京市人。著名古文字學家、歷史學家和易學家。清代學術世家傳人，高祖是清代同治三年進士、著名史地學家和易學家、書法家劉鍾麟。日本大阪市立大學文學博士。曾任日本愛知學院大學、京都大學博士後研究員；武漢大學、中國人民大學、華東師範大學教授；已在海內外先後出版有關易學、古文字學、海外漢學、近代人物傳記和思想研究學術專著四十幾部，發表學術論文170多篇。2015年底移民美國。現任國際考古學暨歷史語言學學會（International Archaeology and Historical Linguistics Society）會長、終身高級研究員和講座教授。
