Under the tutelage of Celeste Kendell, Garrick Aldridge and Corey Wakefield form Auricularis, a singing and songwriting duo. They travel to England as paid performers on a cruise liner. Initially struggling, a breakthrough comes at the BBC. A United Kingdom tour follows and they perform with success in New York and Los Angeles.
Corey gets an offer to star in a biopic based on the life and music of Buddy Holly, and Auricularis split. Through his theatrical agent, Catherine Jaeger, a second film offer comes for Corey and he thrives under the direction of Etienne Quayle. In Hollywood, Corey falls into the traps and temptations of Tinseltown, with devastating consequences.
