The Carpenters, an American family. Mom and Dad have lived their lives in Ohio and retired to Florida. Three offspring, all out of the nest and on successful career paths. Two girls and a boy. The family is close, even though they are apart geographically. Mom and Dad are active, fit, seniors living the American dream.

Why and how could they both be laid flat on their backs? Tish, stone-cold dead, and Arthur comatose? What could have caused this tragedy?

Two thousand miles away El Mencho, the cartel King, smiled. Another bunch of Gringos would be affected by his product. He didn't care. His growing fentanyl profit margin caused his smile What could the Americans possibly do that would affect his newest, most promising, income stream? The US government was caught up in a quandary because of their border policy. They were weak, ineffective, and even better for him, they had no vision. No, his billions in fentanyl profits were safe, and secure, as long as he keeps flooding the border with his product.
