Er enthält 4 Schriften, wovon 2 ("Der Brief des Petrus an Philippus" und "Die [erste Apokalypse] des Jakobus") bereits aus dem Nag-Hammadi-Fund bekannt sind. Die beiden anderen Schriften bieten bisher unbekannte gnostische Texte ("Das Judas-Evangelium" und einen Text, der in der Forschung den Namen "Allogenes" bekommen hat). Die Publikation präsentiert die koptischen Texte mit gegenüberstehender deutscher Übersetzung sowie ausführliche sprachliche Register und inhaltliche Beobachtungen.
