Game Over (Touring Edition)

A gripping, urgent and deeply moving play from one of Britain's most widely performed playwrights.

Based on the true story of Breck Bednar, GAME OVER explores the devastating consequences of online grooming and the dangers that can lie behind seemingly harmless digital friendships. With clarity, compassion and theatrical power, Mark Wheeller turns a shocking real-life case into a play that is both emotionally compelling and fiercely relevant for young audiences.

This touring edition has been specially adapted for a cast of 6 and a running time of approximately 50 minutes, making it an excellent choice for schools, youth theatres and touring companies seeking a small-cast play with real impact.

Direct, accessible and hard-hitting, GAME OVER opens up vital conversations around internet safety, safeguarding, manipulation, family relationships and the hidden risks of online gaming and social media. It is a play that challenges, informs and stays with its audience long after the performance ends.

Perfect for:

• Drama teachers looking for relevant contemporary plays for young performers
• Schools and youth theatres seeking small-cast productions
• PSHE, safeguarding and online safety discussion
• GCSE, BTEC and youth drama contexts
