The Genocide: 1967-1970 is an unbiased account of the anguish, pain and suffering endured by the people of the then- Republic of Biafra as a result of the Nigerian regime led by General Yakubu Gowon (Retd).

The genocidal attack, which resulted in the murder of well over three million civilians, was one of the most heinous acts of inhumanity ever committed on the face of the earth in Africa.

In this book of the trilogy, you will learn what precipitated what appeared to be civil war but quickly escalated into genocide as the Geneva Conventions were flagrantly violated by Yakubu Gowon regime with complete impunity.

This objective historical account is not intended to reopen old wounds; however, if such wounds are to heal, it is critical to expose them to the air and avoid anything will them. Thus, if Nigeria is to make progress, it is preferable for her to comprehensively address the factors that claimed the millions of lives and continue to disproportionately affect people from the defunct Biafran zones.
