This poetic journey through the year 2020 starts off with no anticipation of what is to come. The first portion of the poems range from the frivolity of not being able to get rid of holiday glitter and wondering if the weather predictions of burrowing mammals is better than trained humans to the utter seriousness of people being idiots and death. As the pandemic progressed and became a real thing, the poems shift to more serious topics with some silliness thrown in to keep the author sane. The journey ends with a sampling of the poetry from the author's poetry workshop classes and one before/after critique poem.
