Godina je 1980. Rat uveliko bukti izmedju Libije i Cada. Jedno nomadsko pleme zaustavilo se na pogranicnom pojasu, ne bi li prenocilo pred nadolazecom pustinjskom olujom. Kada je ona protutnjala, ostavila je iza sebe prizor stravicnog pokolja.

Prebacivanje odgovornosti za zlocin među zaracenim zemljama, privuklo je paznju stranim drzavama koje su iza zatvorenih vrata, odlucile da sprovedu istragu o tome. Grupe internacionalnih novinara iz: Jugoslavije, SAD-a, Japana, Italije, Engleske i SSSR-a, odlaze put Libije i dalekih predela pustinje, ne bi li svaka sa unapred dobijenim delicem informacija, otkrila sta se zaista desilo.

Surovi ambijent, put bez povratka i psiholoski teror sa kakvim nisu ni mogli da zamisle da ce se susresti, sastrugace im telesne fasade i prikazati im pravo znacenje ogoljenih dusa. Jer, u pustinji je istina samo jedna i ona glasi: smrt.
