Welcome to the world of Nýchta, a young black girl born to a mother named Sanskrit. In a dystopian future post global nuclear war, the only place that is permanently habitable is the small town of Ushuaia, Argentina. There, a lady named Thána tries to find the girl who wears sunglasses. As her powers grow, Nýchta is able to gain more and more strange powers, but so does Thána, who tries to follow her adversary around as a global game of cat and mouse ensues. The story begins with Nýchta in orbit on board a stolen Shuttle. From there, the story goes back in time to describe the life of Sanskrit and Nýchta as she grows into a young adult to... well from here you'll just have to read the story.
