It is 1998 when a young woman driving on a snowy Michigan road accidentally hits what appears to be the dead body of a child-until the corpse seemingly comes alive, just as a hand reaches up from behind the woman and grabs her throat. After Shannon White's parents summon the police to look for her, all they find is her abandoned car with her purse in the front seat and the key in the ignition.



Meanwhile Professor Franky Lake, Police Captain Hazel Cowan, and the rest of the team are focused on locating Professor Phillip Parker who has been missing since the murder of Banthom. What they do not know is that Parker is on the run from an evil beast who has special plans for him.
