In dem Bildband SOME sind einige seiner frühesten Arbeiten versammelt. Schon für den Schüler war die Kamera eine permanente Begleiterin. Die im Laufe der Zeit entstandenen Fotografien, sind kaum über den Aggregatszustand des Negativs hinaus bearbeitet; das Provisorische eines Lebens zwischen Künstleratelier und Road Movie manifestiert sich in Motiven, die durch eigenwillige alchemistische Reaktionen in einem neuen medialen Kontext erscheinen. Die so entstandenen neuen Bilder zeigen menschenleere, poetische Bildwelten mit künstlicher Farbgebung, solarisierten Verfleckungen, geheimnisvollen Markierungen und Spuren zerstörerischer Manipulationen.
