Trapped with no plans to return to the past, the future is a post-apocalyptic nightmare. Earth, 30k+ years our future, is now home to alien beasts, giant insects, robots, and a rogue AI connected to a virtual heaven. Caught between mutated monsters and dark cultivators, every minute on the surface is a struggle for survival. Breq must break all the rules if he is going to rescue Hannah and defeat Talves in a battle of wills.

Levels 1-120 were just the beginning as Breq unlocks new abilities and awakens an ancient system locked inside of him.

With little more than a cursed sword and a ki-rifle Breq and his team must confront a dangerous cult, moon beasts, and more before diving down to a post-apocalyptic Earth and the ruins of NYC. All culminating into a final clash between the last of humanity, the Chel, and Talves.

The past is lost and the fate of the future will be decided as the War of Bane comes to a bitter end in a battle that will have a ripple effect across the entire galaxy.

Can Breq rescue Hannah in time and survive what has become of Earth?

Mercy of the Wind is the epic 150k word conclusion to the Star Divers series that all started when a boy, now grown, accompanied by their robot companion, went from being a nobody in a game of millions to a hero who has dared to dream loudly as they ventured across time and space for survival, for loot, for their guild, and for vengeance.
