Wizard-detective Aurora Blacknova meets a client promising the greatest mystery in the universe. Instead, she arrives to find an empty cruise ship with no passengers or crew aboard. A hastily written note left in her client's cabin leads to an android serving a ten-thousand-year sentence for rebellion.
