Warum feiern wir in jeder heiligen Messe, dass Christi Leib "für uns hingegeben" und Christi Blut "zur Vergebung der Sünden vergossen" wurde? Pater Karl Wallner lädt ein, sich auf die Suche nach dem "Sinn" des Kreuzes Christi zu begeben. Er möchte auch die Frage beantworten, warum für gläubige Christen eine Gesinnung der "Sühne", wie sie viele Heilige praktiziert haben, sinnvoll und heilschaffend ist.
