Der Band enthält drei Teile, die sich Theorie, Praxis und Entwicklung widmen: Teil A bietet eine detaillierte Erklärung der zentralen Ideen hinter lexikalischem Unterricht Teil B enthält eine Sammlung von Aktivitäten, die die Unterrichtsprinzipien für Grammatik, Wortschatz usw. in die Praxis umsetzen Teuk C spricht einige der Probleme und Implikationen der Frage an, wo und wie lexikalischer Unterricht eingesetzt werden kann.
