THE DRASTIC CHILD

1980. A family history soaked in secrets. A child whose name refuses to stay buried.

Patrick Dawson's world begins to fracture when the past starts reaching into the present.

At first, the disturbing events surrounding the Dawson family seem disconnected-old crimes, unanswered questions, strange pieces of evidence, and memories people would rather forget. But as Patrick and Megan are pulled deeper into the mystery, they discover that the truth is far more personal than either of them expected.

Every clue leads backward.

Back through the Dawson family's history.

Back toward crimes whose consequences never truly ended.

And back toward the terrifying mystery at the center of it all:

The Drastic Child.

As buried identities and long-kept secrets begin surfacing, Patrick is forced to question what he knows about his family, the people around him, and even the story he has been told about his own past. The investigation becomes a descent into a history where victims, suspects, lies, and memories are tangled together-and where discovering the truth may be more dangerous than leaving it buried.

But some secrets refuse to stay dead.

And what Patrick uncovers in Book One does not end with the final page.

It opens the door to something much larger.

THE DRASTIC CHILD is the beginning of a five-book mystery-horror saga about family, identity, crime, consequences, and the terrifying power the past can hold over the living.

Some childhoods are remembered.
Some are forgotten.
And some become nightmares that last for generations.
