The Shiba Force

Three dogs. Three bells. One forgetting.

ChiChi has never left her cozy Vermont bookshop. Chance has never stopped stealing socks long enough to listen. Redd is very sure he is in charge of everything.

None of them knows the others exist - until an ancient voice calls all three the same night, and a gray fog begins creeping across the country, quietly erasing everything it touches. The way home. A favorite color. A grandmother's face.

To stop the Forgetting, three young Shiba Inus from three old bloodlines must find each other, recover three hidden bells, and carry them to a shrine none of them has ever seen. They will have to outwit a shadow-tree, call back a forgotten sea, and learn the hardest thing of all - how to trust each other.

And they'll discover the secret the Forgetting hopes they never will: you remember who you are by remembering someone you love.

The Shiba Force: The Forgetting is the first book in a heartwarming illustrated adventure series for readers ages 7-10, perfect for young readers who love dog stories, magical animal adventures, and tales of unlikely friendship.
