It's scorching hot. Scottish friends Tom and Frank run the marathon of their lives through the Egyptian desert. They've been training for a long time for the desert run. He falls in love with the Hebrew woman Elena and fights with her and her people the final battle of Masada against the Romans. How can Tom survive this horror?
