Truth Takes Time

Someone is trying to kill me.

I suppose it's an occupational hazard-Life as a CIA officer has certainly made me some enemies. But this isn't just some run-of-the-mill arms dealer with a grudge. This time, I'm being hunted by the man who killed my father.

Five years ago when my father went missing, I found the man responsible and thrust him into the deepest, darkest hole the Russian prison system had to offer. Anton Sokolov should be rotting away, miserably surviving on gray mush and zero sunlight. But someone got him out, and now he's bent on revenge.

It would be one thing if he came after me himself-I can handle an old man with a gun in my sleep. But he's not alone. Along with putting out a hit on my life, it turns out that Sokolov is the new head of the very terrorist organization my team has been fighting for weeks.

With all the precautions I take to hide my identity, Sokolov couldn't have tracked me down on his own. Even with all of Black Sun's resources at his disposal, there should be no way for him to find me at home.

Unless he had help from us.

I can't fight this alone, but looping in my team means revealing some of the very secrets I've worked so hard to conceal. And with the threat of a mole in our ranks, protecting my double life is more important than ever.

I trust my teammates, but how will they react when they find out the depths of my lies? Some truths take time to accept. But with a price on my head, time is one thing we don't have on our side.
