Walks On The Wind

For generations they had survived on the open plains-against enemies, storms, and pestilence. Now, a new force was pushing into their lands, and in a desperate fight for their survival, they became...THE LAST WARRIORS. Out-numbered, out-gunned, they were the most courageous warriors of all-fighting for survival on their own land.

From the acclaimed author of the FIRST FRONTIER colonial-era novel series Michael Kosser.

WALKS ON THE WIND

Once they owned the plains. Magnificent riders, fierce raiders, the Arapaho outfought their ancient enemies, the Utes, and hunted with skill and courage the great herds of buffalo. But the white man-the Niatha-had come into their land, defacing the earth for gold, building farms, and turning the ancient winter resting place in a town called Denver.

For one warrior, the way of peace and cooperation was trampled under a stampede of cruelty, confusion, lies, and death. Now, Walks On The Wind is a man who has lost everything he once held dear. Turning from the Arapahos' past enemies, Walks On The Wind pits his courage against a people he cannot understand or defeat-but whom he will haunt until his dying day.
