Waylon's Awakening

One single dad's return home turns into a journey of self-discovery...

Harmony Grove. It was supposed to be a pitstop, a place to take care of my Mom post-surgery. I wasn't sure I'd stay but also didn't know what came next for me. I certainly didn't plan on Jasper, the town's sassy hair stylist.

Back in my teaching days, Jasper was just another student. A bright kid, sure, but nothing more. Now, he's a charming man with a disarming smile and I... I'm a divorced father of three, wrestling with a truth I've kept hidden for too long.

I'm bisexual. I've known it, ignored it, buried it deep down because it wasn't what was expected of me. I got married, had kids, and lived the life I was supposed to. Now, I'm here, in Harmony Grove, battling the small-town chatter, the whispers, the sidelong glances.

And Jasper? He's making it incredibly hard to ignore these awakening desires. But he's not much older than my kids, and I can't stop worrying about the talk, about what people will say. Can I really explore this part of me here, in the heart of gossip central, with Jasper?

Waylon's Awakening is my journey-a tale of hidden truths, the courage to embrace who you really are, and the intoxicating, terrifying thrill of true love. Welcome to Harmony Grove, where the coffee is hot, the rumors are hotter, but the strength of self-discovery is the hottest of all.
