The son of a fundamentalist preacher, Larry knows what it is to be lost in life. He first considered suicide at nine years old. Surviving into his twenties, he discovered nature as refuge from shame and unworthiness. He spent subsequent decades cultivating a sacred intimacy with nature that would later grow to inspire and inform his thriving amidst a terminal cancer diagnosis.
