Diese Arbeit stellt die Herausforderungen der Aufbau- und Verbindungstechnik in der Mikrosystemtechnik im medizinischen Anwendungsbereich dar. Im Fokus steht die Integration von optischen, elektrischen und mechanischen Komponente innerhalb einer Baugruppe. Gegenwärtig müssen medizinische Geräte einerseits die Aufgaben der Diagnose erfüllen und andererseits eine therapeutische Wirkung erzielen. Die Innovation liegt in neuen theranostischen Geräten, die in einer Funktionseinheit sowohl Diagnose- als auch Therapieanforderungen gewährleisten. Beispielweise unterstützen optische Komponenten in einer Baugruppe die frühzeitige Detektion der Veränderungen von Gewebe innerhalb von Hohlorganen und können mittels Laserablation diese Veränderung entfernen. Dabei muss der permanente Austausch von Daten und elektrischer Energie garantiert werden. Daraus ergeben sich neue Herausforderungen an das optische Packaging in der Mikrosystemtechnik.
