Here is one poem entitled Chains BrokenI thought I knew my Lord and God;but darkness fi lled my mind.I thought I knew my Saviours word;most all I knew was lies.Fear-ignorance-bondage and control,was mostly all my mind did know.One day my life began to change,My Lord and God did rearrange.Th e chains did break and I was free,my Lord and God He spoke to me.my soul was starved and very dry;His presence was for what it cried.I love to praise His Holy Name;Gods love has been my glorious gain.When there are people who lead us astray;we have to learn to forgive them and pray.Th at their souls I will forgive;and Gods love in them shall live.
