Bills investigation request has started to heat things up around the Denver office. Bill is trying to keep Michael from finding out what is going on. He soon realizes this task is going to be impossible. Bill accepts that at some point during this investigation, Michael must find out the truth. The truth being that Agent Stallingsworth and some of his cronies are the ones who, either directly or indirectly, were involved with killing Gilda and her friends just a little over a year ago. Bill finds out the day the investigation ends that Agent Stallingsworth and his cronies have escaped the dragnet put out by the FBI. Now infuriated beyond all reason, Agent Stallingsworth puts the finishing touches on a most diabolical plan.
