The collection of mosques known as the Great Mosque is a book written by Jalal al -Din al -Suyuti (who died in the year 911 AH).Jalal al-Din Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Sabiq al-Din Bakr ibn Uthman ibn Muhammad ibn Khidr ibn Ayyub ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sheikh Hammam al-Din al-Khudairi al-Suyuti, known as Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti. He was born after sunset on Sunday night at the beginning of Rajab (Cairo 849 AH/1445 AD - Cairo 911 AH/1505 AD) Imam Hafiz, commentator, historian, writer, and Shafi''i jurist. He has about 600 works. He grew up in Cairo as an orphan; His father died when he was five years old, and when he reached forty years of age, he isolated himself from people, and isolated himself in Rawdat al-Maqiyas, on the Nile, isolated from all of his companions, as if he did not know any of them, so he wrote most of his books. The rich and princes would visit him and offer him money and gifts, which he would return. The Sultan asked for him repeatedly, but he did not come to him. He sent him gifts, which he returned, and he continued to do so until he died. He was called "the son of books." Because his father asked his mother to bring him a book, but she went into labor and gave birth to him while she was among the books.
