Serenade contains Edie Schmolls poem And Now that won the National Poetry Award in 2008 from American Mensa along with other prizewinning selections. Many have been set to music by the authors custom songwriting company, Music Songs, set for publication in 2012. Schmoll is a noted author, musician, composer, artist and educator living in Southern California. She is a resident poet and cover artist for Inland Empires Awardwinning i.e-and author of the nonfiction book A Crime Against One Person: HMO Nightmare (2010).
