Supernatural horror prequel centred on a haunted doll. After the death of their young daughter, doll maker Samuel Mullins (Anthony LaPaglia) and his wife Esther (Miranda Otto) invite a group of orphans and nun Sister Charlotte (Stephanie Sigman) to stay in their farmhouse after their own orphanage closes down.
